Neural Gateway ("The Service") is a hobbyist project provided by LachlanM05. We welcome users from all backgrounds. By using this Service, you explicitly agree to the following:

• No Warranty: The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE". I make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding uptime, speed, data integrity, or security.
• Service Interruptions: This Service runs on personal infrastructure. It may go offline at any time, for any reason, without prior notice. Do not rely on this Service for critical production workloads.
• Data Loss: I am not responsible for any data loss, including but not limited to: lost API keys, deleted account configurations, or connection logs.
• Liability: In no event shall LachlanM05 be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability arising from the use of this software.

I believe in transparency. Here is exactly what is tracked when you use the Neural Gateway:

A. Account Information

When you register, I store your Username, Email Address (hashed/secured where applicable), and an encrypted Password Hash.

Data Selling: Your privacy is paramount. I will never sell any of your data to third parties under any circumstances.

B. IP Logging

For security and abuse prevention, I log the following IP addresses:

• Signup IP: The IP address used to create the account.
• Last Login IP: The most recent IP used to access the dashboard.
• Client Connection IP: The IP address of your local machine running the Neural Client software.

C. Traffic Logs

To monitor system health and provide you with statistics, the system logs metadata about API requests, including:

• Timestamp of request
• Model name requested (e.g., "llama3")
• Duration of generation (latency)

Important: The content of your prompts and the AI's responses are NOT stored in the database. They pass through the gateway in real-time.

D. Email Communication

By registering, you agree to the following email communication policies:

• Important Emails: I will send critical, service-related emails (such as security alerts, policy changes, or password resets) to your registered email regardless of your mailing list status.
• Other Emails: I will only send non-critical emails if absolutely necessary, or if you have opted-in to the Mailing List.

You agree NOT to use this Service for:

• Illegal activities under Australian or International law.
• Hosting or distributing malware, phishing sites, or abusive content.
• Attempting to bypass security measures or attack the infrastructure (DDoS).

Termination: I reserve the right to suspend or delete any account found violating these rules or abusing system resources, without warning or refund (since it's free).
